Host a Fundraiser

When organizing a fundraiser or event to benefit Healing Heroes Network, please remember that we do not support any fundraiser that is of sexual, political, or religious in nature.

Fundraising Checklist:

Decide what type of fundraiser you want to have

Some successful ideas include: Golf Tournaments, Fishing Tournaments, Video Game Tournaments, Run/Walk/Bike/Swim events, Company Fundraisers, School Fundraisers, Bake-Offs, Concerts, Paintball Tournaments, Motorcycle Rides, Athletic Competitions, Football Games and more!

Let us know about your fundraiser

We would like to know about your event to try to help with guidelines and materials. Please fill out the Fundraiser form to register the fundraiser with our office. Our logo and flyer may be useful to you when planning an event to benefit HHN.

* Note: If you plan to use the HHN logo on any marketing materials for your event, please submit your material designs prior to print/production for approval. If HHN's logo is misused in any way as determined by HHN, cost of any and all reproduction or reprints will be at the creator/fundraiser’s expense.

Set a fundraising goal

When organizing a fundraising event, establish a realistic monetary goal and try to keep your costs low.

Make a plan

Establish a schedule of what you need to do. Start with the date the event will take place and work backwards to give yourself enough time to prepare everything necessary to hold the event.

Collect funds

All monetary donations are tax deductible and we will send a letter of acknowledgment for all contributions. Donors/Supporters can use the letter we send for their tax records.

When receiving donations in cash, please provide HHN with a Donation Tracking Excel File with names and addresses of the individuals who have donated in cash, and the amount donated by each individual. For the security of those donations, please convert them into a check before sending them through the mail.

To ensure timely processing of your guests' donations, please send in the contributions as soon as possible. We are then able to send them the acknowledgment letter for their donation.

* Checks/Money Orders should be made out to Healing Heroes Network.
