SSgt. Trevor Gray

SSgt. Gray began seeing an HHN Acupuncture provider in June 2010. When he initially contacted HHN, Trevor had symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and was suffering from chronic pain after a sniper attack severed one of his fingers. Now that he’s an HHN Hero, positive changes continue to happen for this U.S. Marine.

“As a wife of a wounded vet, you do all that you can to facilitate in the healing and recovery of your spouse. It is a hard reality to know that sometimes you just can’t make everything o.k. Trevor has had a hard struggle since coming home from Iraq. I cannot even begin to recount the endless amount of doctor’s visits, surgeries, and medications Trevor has tried over the last several years. At times there were minimal improvements, but overall his health has never really returned to what it was prior to going to Iraq. Someone suggested that he see an acupuncturist for his chronic pain and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Trevor’s  father, Ferrill Gray was very generous to pay for his visits to see an acupuncturist. Much to my surprise and delight, Trevor was finally feeling better and showing improvement. Unfortunately, Tricare would not pay for this type of treatment and the expense was getting to be too much for his father. It was at this time that we turned to HHN. I must admit I was skeptical. I thought it was too good to be true that there would be an organization out there that would be so willing and generous to help us. Much to my delight and surprise, HHN provided quick approval, and Trevor was able to receive care immediately. Now that he is receiving regular and frequent care from an acupuncturist, he is making great progress. Words can not express my gratitude and immense appreciation to HHN. Thank you so much for the wonderful difference you have made in the life of my husband and my family.”
